Beachmere Community Garden's Solar Power Funding

Beachmere Community Garden Inc. is constructing an accessible, educational and welcoming green space in the centre of Beachmere. The group's focus is on inclusion and education, offering an opportunity for everyone to learn and share valuable information about growing plants. Food plants, indigenous and native plants are at the forefront, as well as trialing and displaying methods that are suitable for our local environment and conditions. Community is just as important as the plants though!

The garden is almost complete and the group hopes to open this space to the community before the end of spring.

Members and volunteers have worked hard to raise funds but these have been depleted in bringing this project to the current point. To finish off the major works, the group hopes to install an off-grid solar power system.
