Be Part of AIA's Mission for Special Athletes

I have been invited to participate with Athletes in Action (AIA) to lead a team of 6 college students serving the World Games for Special Olympics in March 2025. AIA is an international sports organization that shares the good news of Jesus Christ through the platform of sport. This trip is a unique opportunity to show and share the love of God with athletes who are the “least of these” mentioned in Matthew 25:40. For me, this is an opportunity to work with Athlete Leaders in connecting to Special Olympians and mentor them spiritually.

My Co-Leader, Matt Williams has been working AIA and college athletes for over 20 years - inviting and equipping athletes to grow in their relationship with Christ. Most importantly, connecting them to other athletes who desire to actively live the Gospel.

One opportunity that AIA offers is spring break mission trips. As part of a team that is traveling to Italy on March 7-14, 2025.

The purpose of this trip is to volunteer with the World Special Olympics happening in Turin, Italy. We will serve athletes with intellectual disabilities, who in the world of sport are overlooked and under-resourced. My heart is compelled to work with this team of talented, inspiring students in become the next generation of leaders and experience Christ through interacting with Special Olympians around the world.

In order to participate, I am trusting God to raise up the needed financial support. Each person on the team is responsible to raise $3,500+ to cover expenses for flights, housing, food, etc. Would you prayerfully consider giving $100, $250, $500, or some other amount toward this need?
