Help Support Rhianna’s Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer

Dear WNY Community and beyond,

Our dear friend Rhianna (think Fleetwood Mac, not pronounced like the singer, she will correct you) is the most loving mom, devoted wife, caring daughter, loyal sister, compassionate OT, Mercy girl, and the kind of best friend everyone hopes to have. Rhianna has been bravely fighting cancer since March 2024 when she was suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma which was discovered during her pregnancy, with her unborn angel Dillon Christopher. Rhi and her husband Jared have had to endure more than any young family should ever have to endure. Recent prognosis for Rhianna has been devastating and now they need our help!

Life for Rhi has always been about her people, the connections, and the joys she loves: her beautiful family, animals (cats hold a special place in her heart), cookie cakes, margaritas, fashion, bingeing 90 Day Fiancé, millennial emo playlists, art and music, a recent dabble into Fantasy football (Go Bills), and fine dining.

Rhianna has never once complained and continues to ask us how we are doing despite her own struggles. Instead of bitterness, she is choosing to battle this terrible disease with grace, love, hope, humor and her sassy personality we adore her for. We wish we would could be more like Rhi.

If you are lucky enough to know Rhianna, you know Jared. He has been the best father to their sweet son Cameron, home chef and loving partner since they met back in 2006, and recently a devoted caregiver to our friend. Jared is a bright light for us and many others, and a pillar in the community. As we like to we say, Jared literally knows everyone. We are hoping to raise funds to provide comfort for their family during this difficult time and show how WNY takes care of their own.
