At Be Inspired UK, we are dedicated to empowering young people and providing them with the tools, opportunities, and guidance to build brighter futures. Through mentoring, sports, education, and community support, we help young people develop confidence, resilience, and positive pathways away from violence and crime.

The Elite Athlete Pathway

In 2026, we are launching the Elite Athlete Pathway - a year-long, high-performance programme supporting six dedicated young people (16–21) who are serious about competing at a high level and building a future in sport.

Each young person will receive structured strength & conditioning, daily performance sessions, nutrition and mindset development, competition access, travel support, sports education, qualifications, and mentorship within the industry.

The cost is approximately £2,500 per athlete, plus additional expenses for travel and competitions. Our goal is to raise £15,000 to fully fund all six places and deliver the programme at a truly elite standard.

Trials are taking place on Tuesday 10 March 2026, with selected athletes announced in April ahead of the programme launch.

The Elite Athlete Pathway has been created in honour and memory of our late Co-Founder, Adam Ballard, who sadly passed in early 2025. This programme carries his vision forward - developing not just strong athletes, but focused, resilient young leaders.

Your Support

Your support will help removes barriers, provide professional-level resources, and give six young people the opportunity to train with purpose, develop resilience, and pursue excellence.

Any donation, big or small, will go towards supporting these 6 young people in the Elite Athlete Pathway programme.

2025 Fundraising

Throughout 2025, our community stepped up in extraordinary ways - from the Brighton 10K and Eastbourne Triathlon to the Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon, community swim events and our Photography & Film Exhibition. Every challenge helped us to raise funds for Be Inspired and we are grateful for everyone's donations to date.
