Today is my birthday, and instead of gifts, I am asking for something far more meaningful.

This year, I’m dedicating my birthday to the brave children and families in Cameroon who are living with sickle cell disease. Their daily battles are heavy, painful, and heartbreaking… and too many of them are fighting alone.

In Cameroon, sickle cell is not just a medical condition, it is a burden that affects entire families. Many parents cannot afford even the basic necessities, let alone regular medical care. The health system has failed them, and the emotional, financial, and physical weight leaves families feeling abandoned and invisible.

Through Bravelife Foundation, I have had the privilege of walking beside these families. I’ve seen their courage, their fear, their endless resilience. I’ve also seen how much relief, hope, and strength they gain when someone simply stands with them.

We offer support programs, emotional care, essential supplies, and community activities that remind these families:
