My name is Carolina “Cam” Campbell. I’m not just asking for donations—I’m inviting you to help build infrastructure for change.
I grew up understanding what it meant to navigate life without consistent stability. My parents came to Washington Heights(NYC) from Dominican Republic in the late 70s. Where the drug epidemic was prevalent. We moved to NJ for a better life, but by that time it was too late. For years, my father battled addiction which no one discussed or turned a blind eye to. Although, by the grace of God, I stand here today with invisible wounds, my sister is not. That experience and losing my sister shaped my purpose and ultimately led me to create CountOnCam Collective Impact Housing —an independent shared housing program help individuals with housing while getting them back on their feet.
The same challenges that I faced 20 years ago, I still see happening today: people who are doing their best yet remain stuck without access to safe housing, education, or a path forward. This isn’t a lack of effort—it’s a lack of systems.
That’s where you come in.
Your Investment Helps Fund:
- $5-$50 towards welcoming kits for licensees that include hygiene products.
- $75 towards bedding for newcomers.
- $100 towards licensee incentives.
- $200 towards cleaning products in bulk.
- $500 hosting educational seminars for their advancement.
- $1,000 & up assist with utilities, security deposits, & first month rents to create more spaces for housing.
This is about helping individuals move from instability into sustainability—creating a pathway to long-term independence, not temporary relief.
Why This Matters?
Housing is the foundation. Without it, education, employment, and financial growth are nearly impossible. With the right structure in place, independent shared housing becomes a launchpad—not a last resort.
I can do the work, but I can’t build the framework alone. Would you support my cause?
"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"
