Update on Aihnoah’s Surgery

The surgery went well, and doctors believe they removed most of the tumor. We are still waiting for the results. Aihnoah will need to remain on bed rest for about two months, with her mom staying by her side.

She is still feeling weak but is gradually improving. Her next update is on March 27. She will continue therapy and has a lot of medication to take.

Please keep her in your prayers. This will be a long journey, and she needs her mom’s support every step of the way.

Aihnoah is a beautiful, strong, and loving young girl who has been a part of our lives for almost four years. She is my daughter's best friend, and both she and her mother, Yelitza Leon, have become family to us.

Two years ago, Aihnoah was diagnosed with a major brain tumor. She underwent surgery, fought through recovery, and had to relearn how to do everyday tasks with therapy and support. Now, we have received heartbreaking news—the tumor has returned. She is scheduled for surgery next Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in Jacksonville.

Yelitza, a hardworking single mother, will need to pause everything to be by her daughter's side—traveling, attending doctor’s appointments, and ensuring Aihnoah receives the therapy she needs post-surgery. This means she will not be able to work, adding financial strain to an already difficult journey.

This is where we come together as a community. The Bible teaches us to help those in need, and this is our moment to be the hands and feet of God. I ask you to please support this family during this storm—whether through prayers, donations, or simply sharing their story.

Let’s show them that they are not alone. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference. Together, we can be a source of hope and strength for Aihnoah and Yelitza.
