Scott Killips Cancer Fund

Hey everyone, I have created this gofundme to help my family during a difficult time. As many of you know, my mom battled breast cancer in 2018 and beat it with sheer strength, good doctors and most importantly, the support of our community. Because of her journey, we know how quickly the bills add up between surgeries, travel and other treatments that may be needed before & after.

Sadly, my dad was recently diagnosed with neck cancer. We are looking at biopsy’s (he has had two already and has another today in Orlando), travel back and forth to Orlando, hotel stays during healing processes, a minimum of 2 surgeries (one in Fort Myers to remove lymph nodes and one in Orlando are planned so far) and several rounds of radiation.

As many of you know, my dad has been a huge part of helping those in need and spending a lot of his time volunteering his time and energy to community service, despite battling muscular dystrophy as well. He has volunteered to coach a local sled hockey team, he collected and distributed backpacks full of clothes and other supplies to our local homeless, and lots of other acts of selflessness & kindness while expecting nothing in return.

Scott is a father to three and grandfather to three. I couldn’t ask for a better father, role model or papa for my daughter. He is and has always been my hero.

So, I have set a pretty big goal taking into consideration that gofundme takes a portion of every donation, to help cover these costly surgeries, treatments, travel and hotel costs in hopes that my family and friends can donate whatever is reasonable for them. Anything is appreciated greatly and we love you all. Thank you for your support of my family.
