Bayou Endurance Challenge Donations
Tax deductible
*In loving memory of Sharon Blades & Ronnie Cooper*
The Bayou Endurance Challenge traces its roots back to the shared passion and vision of two ultramarathoners from the heart of South Louisiana—Rafe Blades and Ben Gros. United by their love for running and pushing their limits, these two friends envisioned an event that would not only embody the spirit of ultrarunning but also make it accessible to enthusiasts of all levels. Recognizing that not everyone has the opportunity to participate in traditional ultramarathons due to various constraints, they aimed to break down barriers and make ultrarunning accessible to all.
Charitable Giving:
The decision to keep the event free and encourage donations for charity reflects Rafe and Ben's commitment to making a positive impact beyond the running community. By directing 100% of the donations to charity, they hope to use the Bayou Endurance Challenge as a force for good, contributing to causes that align with their values and the spirit of the running community.
