At Bayit Miklot, we’re building a sanctuary in Dallas, Texas, where young Jewish individuals facing life’s toughest challenges can find healing, purpose, and community. Our mission is to guide marginalized Jewish *neshamas* (souls) toward a brighter future through trauma-informed care, vocational training, and a warm, Jewish-inspired environment. We’re starting with resident homes and an interim clubhouse in a rented house—and we need your help to make this vision a reality.

Our Story: A Refuge for Healing

Bayit Miklot is more than a program—it’s a home. We’re creating safe, affordable resident homes and a vibrant interim clubhouse where young people can heal from trauma, grow in faith, and build skills for independence. From game nights filled with laughter to Torah study that grounds us in tradition, our community fosters connection and belonging. Why We’re Different: We’re committed to holistic support, but our vision is bigger than our current resources allow. Here’s what we offer now and what we dream of providing with your support:

Current: Core therapeutic services like inner child work, grief therapy, and group counseling, funded by donations and grants.

Current: Basic vocational workshops on budgeting, resume building, and job interview skills to foster independence.

Current: Sliding scale room and board in our resident homes, tailored to income, teaching financial responsibility.

Current: Jewish community activities like Torah study, Shabbat gatherings, and Jewish history classes, hosted in temporary or shared spaces.

Aspirational (Not Yet Available): Advanced therapies like EMDR, IFS, and Brainspotting to address complex trauma, which we can’t afford to implement.

Aspirational (Not Yet Available): Expanded vocational programs, including certifications in trades like coding, plumbing, and lifeguarding, limited by lack of funding for trainers and equipment.

Aspirational (Not Yet Available): An interim clubhouse in a rented house, fully equipped for therapy, vocational training, and community events, delayed due to rental and furnishing costs.

Why We Need Your Support

To establish our resident homes and interim clubhouse and expand our impact, we’re raising $100,000 to:

Establish Resident Homes: Secure and furnish safe, affordable living spaces with sliding scale room and board for residents ($40,000).

Rent an Interim Clubhouse: Rent and furnish a house to serve as a hub for therapy, vocational workshops, and Jewish community activities ($25,000).

Launch New Programs: Start advanced therapeutic services (e.g., EMDR) and vocational certifications (e.g., coding, trades) to empower residents ($20,000).

Sustain Operations: Cover staff, utilities, and program materials to maintain trauma-informed care and community activities ($10,000).

Expand Outreach: Share our mission through marketing and community events to reach more *neshamas* in need ($5,000).
