SF Bay Area COVID-19 LGBTQ Relief Fund

Thank you for supporting our communities most impacted by COVID-19. Together we can make a difference and give back!
Over the last week we have received hundreds of request from LGBTQ+ community members looking for imitate relief during this difficult time. The majority of the request of are from trans, queer, and gender nonconforming people of color who are not connected other support systems or services. The primary need is for cash assistance to secure essentials including food, shelter, and medications.
This is the reality of Bay Area's LGBTQ+ community right now, and we need everyone to step up and give if they can. For every hour, there is one more trans or queer person struggling and reaching out to us for immediate help. And we desperately need your help to meet these essential needs.
Since our cash and food relief grants opened, the coalition has received hundreds of requests for volunteer support and cash assistance totaling nearly $150,000 in less than a week since the relief fund launched.
The expected grant funds we have received can't even cover 10% of this need and our vital community organizations are at capacity.
We need your matching support to address these urgent request for food, medicine, and essentials.
Our community needs your support. And yes, the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted everyone but lives are at stake especially for our most vulnerable trans and queer community members in the Bay Area.
