Battleship New Jersey Eagle Scout Benches

My name is Aidan Hawley and I am working on an Eagle Scout project for the Battleship New Jersey BB62. My project is making benches using some of the old deck, repurposing the wood and attaching it to a new metal frame. These benches will be placed throughout the ship to allow the 80,000 visitors per year a chance to stop and rest and take in the history and views of the city. The Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial is a nonprofit dedicated to keeping the ship afloat and in good shape for visiting by the public.
