We are John and Sergio from Euless, Texas. Sergio was diagnosed with stage IV Renal Cell Carcinoma on August 1, 2017. He had his right kidney removed on August 21, 2017. The hospital stay had to be extended due to a second surgery, 9 days after the first, to remove part of his intestine which had developed an unexpected blockage, doubling up the surgery expenses after a lengthy 15 day hospital stay. He will start oncology treatments soon (primarily because his cancer has traveled to other organs), while taking a short term disability leave from work. We are heading towards a big solid wall and at full speed. Still, we believe, and are convinced, we're invincible! However, the sad and cruel reality is that we are about to face the most challenging physical, emotional and financial situation of our entire lives. We would have never imagined, not in a million years, that we would be placed in such a position were our hope and dreams would crumble right before our eyes. Nonetheless, we must respectfully take the liberty of asking for your generosity to help us with whatever amount you can donate to our fund, to help cover current and future medical expenses.
