This September, I’m taking on the Battersea Half Marathon to raise money for SimPal, a charity founded by my grandad.

SimPal is a volunteer-run organisation that provides free SIM cards, data, and mobile phones to people living with cancer, serious health conditions, or those struggling with poverty. In a time when staying connected is everything, SimPal helps make sure no one feels isolated just because they can’t afford a phone or internet.

They receive no government funding and rely entirely on donations to keep going. Every penny raised goes directly towards helping someone stay in touch with their loved ones, access vital services, and feel less alone.
