Hi family and friends! I’m Tallulah Weinstein and I’m raising money for my Bat Mitzvah project to support two things that mean so much to me: horses and softball.
Part of the money I raise will go to Colby’s Crew Rescue, an organization that saves horses from slaughter. So many horses are neglected, abandoned, and sent to kill pens every year with no way out. Colby’s Crew rescues these horses, gives them medical care, helps them heal, and finds them safe, loving homes. Their work was inspired by a horse named Colby, who went from a life of fear and abuse to one of trust and compassion—and I think every horse deserves that kind of second chance.
The other part of my project will go toward a softball scholarship through my organization, the Illinois Wave, to help a player in need of financial assistance. Being part of a team can be such a positive, life-changing experience, and I want to help make sure other girls get that opportunity.
For my Bat Mitzvah, I wanted to give back in a way that reflects who I am and what I care about most. Every donation will help both rescue horses and support a young athlete’s chance to play the game she loves.
Thank you so much for supporting me—it truly means a lot.
