Bat Box Eagle Scout Service Project Fundraiser

Hello, my name is Israel Irwin, and I am part of Boy Scout Troop 3 here in Nashville. For my Eagle Scout service project, I will be teaming up with Friends of Shelby, Shelby Bottoms Nature Center, and Metro Nashville Parks & Recreation to install high-quality prefabricated bat boxes that have been donated by Batbnb. These bat boxes will serve a vital purpose because they provide ideal habitats for our local bat populations. Bats also help control the neighborhood's insect population. The money that I raise will be used to purchase supplies including concrete and poles, as well as of course, lunches for the volunteers. Any leftover funds, after expenses, will be reinvested in the troop for future outings or projects.
