The current situation we find ourselves in has been heartbreaking and unprecedented . Restaurant owners everywhere are having to make tough decisions about staffing and strategy, and in most cases employees are left without a source of income. Like many others here in Chattanooga, we too were forced with the hardest decision in our business’ history. We were heartbroken to realize we could not sustain our business model if our services were limited to take out only. We are attempting to do whatever we can to preserve Basecamp so that our crew has a home to return to when this passes. For now, that means our two owners will be handling all operations with no staff. We are setting up this fund to offer relief for our friendly hard working faces out front, but also for our hourly kitchen crew that crank out delicious meals day after day. We are so proud to be a part of Chattanooga’s awesome community and can’t wait to be serving sunshine, smiles, and suds on Northshore’s favorite patio again as soon as possible!
