Barton Community Association seaside trips
Barton Community Association was left £2,000 out of pocket after the coach company they organise seaside trips with went bust this week.
They were forced to cancel a trip to Brighton on August 1 and have not been reimbursed for coaches booked in the future.
Barton Community Association volunteers are desperately looking for ways to recuperate the funds.
The Oxford Mail is calling on readers to help support the charity to continue the work they do for the local community.
For many families these trips are the only opportunity they have to get out of Oxford in the summer holidays.
The mission of Barton Community Association is to improve the quality of life for all residents in Barton.
Alongside day trips, they provide support in relation to a number of topics such as finding work or setting up your own business.
Barton Community Centre secretary, Sue Holden has said they are so grateful for any support.
