Fidel is raising money to cover the cost of shipping and clearing barrels of essential supplies from the UK to Jamaica. These barrels are filled with clothes, food, toiletries, school items, and mobility aids that will be given out at a charity event and door to door in Jamaica to support underprivileged children, adults, and families in need.

Sending the barrels is expensive — from shipping fees to customs clearance — and without your help, we can’t get these much-needed items into the hands of the people who need them most. Every pound donated goes directly towards making sure the supplies reach Jamaica safely.

Background

This is truly a one-man band effort. Since 2020, Fidel Robinson has been personally collecting and sending around five barrels each year from the UK to Jamaica, filled with donated essentials. These items are freely gifted to anyone in need — children, adults, and families who are struggling. Fidel's past work includes donation of wheelchairs to people who desperately needed mobility support, and personally delivered supplies to the blind community. As the creator of this GoFundMe page, I have stepped in to ask for help so that Fidel doesn’t carry this huge cost alone. He has given his time, energy, and money to help others for years, and now we want to give him the support he deserves to continue this important work.
