Barrataria July 4th Celebration - Keep it Going in 2024!

Barrataria Island Association, Inc's annual 4th of July Celebration will be held on Thursday, July 4th, 2024. The neighborhood event is open to all Barrataria Island Residents and their guests as well as any donor from the surrounding Summer Haven Communities. The event will begin around 7pm with a catered BBQ dinner and Live band. The music will continue throughout the evening until approx. 11pm. The event has become a tradition on the island and we need your support to keep it going. Several volunteers worked over 170 hours to prepare and put on the event last year. Please show your support with a donation to help cover the cost of the event. Thanks to all the neighbors who contributed last year to keep the tradition going. We will provide a full accounting of the event (donations and expenses with receipts) at the next board meeting to show the funds raised and the use of funds. Please be as generous as you can, we need to step up our donations a bit to keep pace with inflation in order to keep this great tradition going. Thank you! We look forward to seeing you there!

Donations will fund the supplies to put on the event, including catering service for the dinner for each guest, their friends and family as well as the live band and any equipment/security needed for the event.

Donors from outside the Barrataria Island association (the surrounding Summer Haven area) must reach out to Steve Tatoul or Joe Mantineo to request wrist bands for entry. Entry will not be permitted without authorized wrist band.

If the goal amount is not met we reserve the right to cancel the show and refund all money.
