According to the IRS, donations to Federal, state, and local governments, if your contribution is solely for public purpose are tax-deductible and we are currently working on a letter of determination from them. Receipts can be sent through GoFundMe or mail.
As before, the estimated total cost in line replacement, construction, and infrastructure improvements is $250,000. The work will be done by certified water supply operators, engineers, and contractors.
PHASE 1: Anderson Street and Mill Hill replace 1000 feet of degraded 2” buried copper water line costing approximately $100,000.
PHASE 2: Church Street Bypass reroutes the failing water line below the Stevens River across the Church Street Bridge where a specialized installation is needed due to environmental conditions costing $150,000.
