Hi my name is Sophie Zaccone and I'm fund raising on behalf of a cross-cultural arts-plants-wellbeing group based in far western NSW - on Barkindji Country.

We work together on a number of community and academic outcomes - a Barkindji Edible and Medicinal Plants field guide and calendar, journal articles and a Wellbeing Garden for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

We've been invited to attend the International Conference of Community Psychology in Montevideo, Uruguay so we can share our work and learn more about community-based models of wellbeing to bring home to Barkindji Country.

The work we have done is super cool and truely meaningful for the community. We are all driven to learn more and expand ourselves, for the benefit of social change for the isolated Indigenous communities of far western NSW.

So we need your help!

These funds will be used to purchase flights and accomodation for the Barkindji group members of our group to fly to Montevideo, Uruguay in September this year.
