Help Barbara honor her brother
Donation protected
Our dear friend, Barbara Heir, is grieving the loss of her only sibling, Dennis, who died suddenly in November. She discovered this by asking the police to do a safety check on him after being unable to reach him. (Photo above shows them on their last trip together in October.)
Besides the emotional loss of her brother, Barbara has also been tasked with closing his estate. With no life insurance and very limited assets, she is faced with the burden of paying his funeral expenses and the mounting bills required by PA state law.
Barbara has always been a generous volunteer of both time and heart to her communities and her friends. You may know her as a key volunteer for Insight Boston since 1990, as a Family of Women leadership volunteer since 2004 or as a volunteer at Operation ELF for over 10 years.
Her world has been shaken by the loss of her brother, Dennis, compounded by the unexpected financial burden and has called on us for support . This is why we are asking for it now on her behalf. She deserves and needs our help.
When you are grieving a big loss like Barbara is, she should be free of the added stress of managing loans and paying bills for her deceased brother.
As her friend of the past 15 years, who has seen her generous heart, I would like to extend my request to all of you who have also been recipients of this gorgeous woman’s heart, to extend whatever donation you find possible in your own personal circumstance to help.
Thanks so much!
Love and Blessings,
Lena Winston
