Anish Shrestha's Eagle Project

Tax deductible
Hello, my name is Anish Shrestha. I am a Life Scout from Troop 1812 of the Boy Scouts of America, working on my Eagle Project. For my project, I am working towards renovating the playground at the Banner School campus, a non-profit K-8 in my hometown, Frederick, MD. This includes building a gaga ball pit, re-painting the basketball blacktop, and glorifying the school garden. However, due to the nature of Eagle Projects being raised through non-profit fundraising, I need your help to raise funding for my project. Due to the school's limited funding, we need all the donations and help we can get. Any sort of donation would be incredibly meaningful and helpful to the cause. All funding from donations will go directly to the school and will solely be used for the expenses of this project. If you would like some more detail on the specifics of the project's goals, please read the project description below.

NOTE: You are also welcome to donate supplies. If you are interested in donating supplies, please contact me, so we can discuss specifics.

Project Description:
My Eagle Project will be a multi-faceted project to glorify the campus and playground of The Banner School, a K-8 non-profit private school here in Frederick. I wanted to focus on renovating the old and incorporating new elements that will rejuvenate life on the campus and playground.

Specifically, the project will consist of three different facets/components: painting the blacktop, building a Gaga Ball pit, and planting new flowers in the butterfly garden.

Rather than leaving the school to do this independently, I will lead the planning initiative and lead the effort to enforce these changes. The school has clearly wanted this work to be done for a while, so we will simply be providing them with the labor of actually executing these changes through the capacity of this Eagle Project.

As an alum who went there from Grades 1 to 8, I will be returning to my old school to help them execute some long-needed renovations to the outdated campus infrastructure, specifically the playground. As a former student, I played on that playground daily and made countless memories there. Now, I would like to improve and make it even more fun for the present and future students. Additionally, it would be incredibly meaningful for me to help my alma mater in this capacity by giving back to the school that has already given me so much.
