Bandon Community First Responders is a new initiative within the community of Bandon which will consist of a dedicated group of volunteers who are trained to attend certain types of emergency calls within the area.

As we know cardiac arrest can effect anyone and occur at any time our aim is to reach potential life threatening emergencies within our community in those vital minutes.

The group is run by volunteers and work under the auspices of the National Ambulance Service.

We are currently seeking monetary assistance to be used for the replacement of the current community defibs and the upkeep of such as well as the purchase of equipment which will be ongoing such as pads / batteries for the defibs.

Any contribution no matter how big or small would make a tangible difference in our ability to provide such a vital and potential life saving service in our community.
