More information about Pieta: We’re Pieta, the charity that prevents suicide and self-harm. That means being there for you if you are self-harming, struggling with suicidal thoughts, or have lost someone to suicide. Every year nearly 500 people in Ireland take their own lives, that’s one life lost every week. It doesn’t have to be this way. Pieta exists to change this by offering life-saving services, provoking national conversation, and bringing people together through Darkness Into Light.

Because of this I am hosting a family fun road run in Ballyhooly GAA club grounds and roads to raise money for this worthy charity. Every step we take together is a step toward hope, healing, and support for people in our community. They don’t just help people in their darkest moments—they remind them that they’re not alone and that recovery is possible
