My name is Mylah Loflin, I’m 17 years old, and I’m asking for help on behalf of — 92-year-old woman, Julia Ballard.

Recently, my friends Arianna, Trey, Andre, and I visited her family farm to buy baby chicks. To which we met Julia for the first time. Despite her age, she has been running the farm almost entirely on her own. Her son, who normally helps, is recovering from a heart attack, leaving Julia with very little support. The four of us immediately offered to volunteer our time on weekends to give her a helping hand. She almost didn’t believe our offer to help, She was extremely grateful .

Not long after, Julia shared something devastating with us. She had recently been violently attacked by several women, who robbed her of puppies she had been raising with love and care. These puppies were not even for sale, but if they had been, each would have been worth hundreds of dollars. Instead, Julia was left with both financial loss and deep emotional pain.

To even imagine a 92-year-old woman enduring violence and heartbreak is beyond tragic. At her age, Julia should be surrounded by peace, safety, and community support. Not fear, struggle, and financial hardship.

That’s why we created this fundraiser. Julia deserves relief. She deserves to know that people care, and that she is not alone. Every donation will go DIRECTLY toward helping Julia keep her farm running, care for her animals, and ease the heavy burdens she carries.
