Baldos Family - Funds for Maui Wildfire Relief

Hi, we are Vanessa, Brenda and Allison - daughters of Danilo Baldos who have teamed up together to set up a Go Fund Me for our dad and his husband.

They are one of the thousands of families affected by the Maui Wildfire that greatly devastated Lahaina. Unfortunately, their home and vehicle were not spared.

Our dad, Danilo has dedicated over 30 years to working for Hyatt Regency in Kaanapali - and still continues to do so. He is known for his smile, laughter and love for plants (the hotel grounds) and people (co-workers) and guests alike. His husband Dan just moved to Maui to start their life together as a family - and was just beginning to put roots down in his career at Hyatt.

Thankfully the things they lost are only material - but unlike some families, they were not able to go home and collect the things that mean the most to them. We feel so deeply for their pain. Currently they are in the Philippines taking a much needed trip to visit family members and we are happy that they are safe.

But they are hurting thinking of what lies ahead for them when they arrive back to the island with no home and no vehicle.

These funds will be used to help restart their lives on Maui and restore basic needs that were lost in the fire.

Any amount helps - as we know that there are thousands of people affected- all of which are people we know ourselves.
