I've been a carer for AskJules for 3 years and during that period I have let my hair down, quite literally. Its super long and I think its time to chop it off and raise some money!

My hair is quite sentimental to me, as when I started working with AskJules I was paired up with a young man called Ben who had Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) . We had a lot in common, such as music, gaming and comedy. He was starting to come out of shell at University, we went to freshers week and a handful of student nights, I saw his confidence growing in the classroom and in social situations. unfortunately, Ben passed away shortly after Christmas. This was totally unexpected and devastating to say the least, so much so I haven't had a hair cut since.

The boys I know and care for are all strong willed, I'm doing this for them in support of helping find a cure or at least support families and individuals who need it.
