Hello. I am Alexandre Cridlig, Eagle Scout Candidate with Troop 271 in University City, San Diego.
I am fundraising for my Eagle Project to build a wooden bridge in the Marston Addition of the historic urban cultural Balboa Park, San Diego. As the previous bridge was washed away, there is a need to build a stronger bridge. The project starts now and will be completed in March 2022, see project calendar . Mr Robert Thiele, a Balboa Park architect , and Mr René Smith, a lifelong Balboa Park advocate, plus Troop 271 ASM Daniel Machado and my mother Mila Anne Cridlig, both engineers, are my advisers. I will need funds to both prepare the building site and purchase materials, such as gabion baskets, pressure-treated wood, hardware, and tools.
I thank the LENNAR Corporation, presently building the 3Roots Home Community in Mira Mesa, who have agreed to donate the cobble for the gabion baskets, including its transport, the Midwest Construction Company for 10% off the gabion baskets plus free shipping, the West Coast Arborists who removed an overhanging eucalyptus branch as community service and Selah Construction and Landscaping who worked "at cost" with no profit.
