Baking bread for Dare to Care food bank

The COVID-19 crisis has left Dare to Care with a shortage of bread for its food bank. It has also left local bakery Rosa de Oro with a shortage of work for its team of 5 bakers. 

Your donation helps in 2 ways: it gives bread to Dare to Care and it gives work to Rosa de Oro.

Rosa de Oro provides high quality bread to more than 30 popular Louisville restaurants, including Havana Rumba, Mussel & Burger Bar, Con Huevos, El Taco Luchador, Porcini, and many others.

They are asking those who are in a position to help for donations so they can continue to bake and deliver fresh bread to those in our community who need it most.

If you donate $100 or more you will receive a receipt from Rosa de Oro for the bread that has been donated to Dare to Care on your behalf. That will allow you to make this a tax deductible contribution.
