We are raising funds for Catch22 through an office bake sale, with the aim of creating and distributing essential “starter packs” for young people leaving care.

Leaving care can be an incredibly challenging transition, and many young people begin independent living with very limited resources. Through this fundraiser, we hope to provide practical and thoughtful items that can make a meaningful difference during this important stage of life.

The starter packs will include everyday essentials and comfort items such as toiletries, antibacterial wipes, notepads, pens, colouring books, and sweets. These items are intended to support practical needs and wellbeing as young people settle into independent living.

Our goal is to raise £500, allowing us to assemble as many starter packs as possible. Every donation will directly contribute to increasing the number and quality of packs we can provide.

This initiative is being organised by the Ridge Pharma ESG team and builds on previous successful collaborations with Catch22, most recently a Christmas initiative where we delivered 25 gift packages to young people in need.

The bake sale will take place on Wednesday 13 May, from 10:00 to 14:00 at BizSpace, Theale, with all proceeds going towards this cause.

Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us support more young people.
