Bake for Better

Hi! I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe during this time of uncertainty. A few weeks after COVID-19 spread worldwide, we began to realize how much it can affect the less fortunate in our communities. Our city, New Rochelle, was one of the first areas to experience the effects of the pandemic and it breaks our hearts to see families suffering due to this pandemic.

We started this Gofundme page, and have set up a goal of $1000. With your help, we hope that we can reach it! The money raised will be donated to Feeding Westchester and Hope Community Services. We have already started working with Hope Community Services to raise money for one of their projects to battle food insecurities during the COVID-19 crisis. We would greatly appreciate it if you could take a little bit of your time and donate even $1 to help support our community.

*UPDATE*
With all the love and support we have received, we were able to raise our initial goal of $1000! A big thank you to all of the donors and supporters of this cause. This would not be possible without you. 

While raising funds for Feeding Westchester and HOPE, we realized that many local businesses would be in need of help at this time as well. So for our next project, we have set up another goal this time of $2000 to support a local bakery and donate some sweet treats to healthcare workers at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, White Plains Hospital, and Maria Fareri Children's Hospital.

With your help, we hope to be able to send some baked goods over to our local healthcare workers to let them know that we are beyond grateful for all that they do and that they are greatly appreciated.
