Hi, my name is Michele Bailey. My 54-year-old husband Scott Bailey recently passed after a 21-month battle with Salivary Gland cancer, an extremely rare head and neck cancer. Our lives were made so much better during an extremely difficult time by the caring private nursing care we were able to provide him through the generosity of our community.

Our caregivers told us many are not as lucky as we were to have the level of support we experienced. We want to change that and pay it forward.

In lieu of flowers, our hearts lead us to do more than grieve in hopes that helping others will be a constant reminder that time is precious. This fundraiser is to help fund private nursing care, comfort care or whatever the need may be for those who can't afford it. Your generous donations will affect the lives of both patient and their families.

We are so grateful to our community and hope to make an impact on the lives of others. Scott sadly lost his battle, but if we can lessen the burden on another family fighting the fight he will leave a legacy of care for years to come.
