Bahamas Volunteer Team

As most of you know, hurricaine Dorian devastated Elbow Cay, Abaco Islands, Bahamas. For decades, some of us (and maybe you) have vacationed there annually. My friend, Sherry, and my sister, Liz, are going down there for a couple of weeks to volunteer their time and efforts. They have been in contact with the disaster team, and they are anticipating their help.  It's uncertain yet where they will be staying or eating, showering, etc. But they will have tents and equipment to camp out if necessary.  Airfare is close to $900+ and there will be additional expenses for ferry transportation along with who knows what. I applaud Sherry and Liz's compassion and willingness to jump in when needed. If you've been there, you know what a special place it is, if you haven't been there, put it on your bucket list for when they've recovered. Your donations will be used to cover their expenses. Any excess donations will be donated to Hopetown Fire and Rescue. Thanks!
