My name is Ella, and I’m a junior in high school. For our school project, my partner Vaughn Wise and I wanted to do something meaningful for our community. We noticed that many people in Indiana are struggling with hunger, and with the winter months being especially harsh, we knew we wanted to help those who don’t have access to enough food or basic resources.

That’s why we started Bags of Hope. Our goal is to create and donate bags filled with food and essential supplies to local food banks, so they can reach people who need them most. Every dollar raised will go directly toward buying food and supplies for these bags, helping us support our neighbors during tough times.
