Hi, my name is Jackie, and I’m the owner of Carmel Kids Consignment, a children’s consignment store in Carmel, California.

I recently read an article that in Monterey County, we have the highest rate of homeless youth in the state. As a mother, I believe every child deserves to start the school year with dignity, feeling confident, comfortable, and cared for, no matter their circumstances.

This back-to-school season, I’m partnering with local organizations that support homeless and housing insecure youth in Monterey County to provide new and gently used clothing, shoes, backpacks, and essentials for students in need. Especially teens, who are often overlooked during toy and clothing drives.

100% of donations will go toward a back-to-school shopping spree for:

• Backpacks, school supplies, and hygiene kits

• New shoes, socks, and undergarments

• Fresh outfits from our curated inventory at Carmel Kids Consignment

Our goal is to support at least 50 students with clothing and essentials in a way that provides some normalcy. Your support, big or small will make a real difference.

This fundraiser is not just about clothing, it’s about hope and the belief that every child deserves to walk into class feeling like they matter.
