My name is Aidan Andrews, and I am a Life Scout in Troop 316 in Levittown PA. I have been in scouting for 10 years, and am currently working towards my Eagle Scout rank. A part of achieving this rank is to organize, lead and complete a project that gives back to the community.
For my Eagle Scout project, I am partnering with Salute2Service, a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing direct and immediate assistance, services and resources, to Veterans and families in need.
For my project, I will be organizing a Back2School drive for Salute2Service, collecting backpacks and school supplies for children of local Veterans and families. I will lead my team in collecting, organizing and filling these backpacks, and will assist Salute2Service in distributing the filled packs to Veterans' children and families in our area.
