Back Weston's Dedication to Liminal Space

Help Weston hold over for the next few months and support the local art community.

Weston Mossman is the mover, shaker, and often-seen face of the arts organization Liminal Space Collective. He has been working tirelessly to keep the Collective afloat and thriving for the past three plus years. This work has effectively become a more-than-full-time job as the Collective seeks a permanent home here in Santa Cruz for us all to enjoy.

Unfortunately, the part-time job he had designing and making art out of recycled plastic has been impacted and the grantwriting gig is for just one grant, so Weston has no stable income.

I'm starting this GoFundMe to support him temporarily and give him a little breathing room. The money is going to go towards:

Rent & Utilities (an obvious one)

Functional Medicine (Weston has chronic health problems - mostly as I understand it weird intestinal stuff that Western medicine has failed to cure. The functional doctor that saved his life apparently costs $800/mo)

Special food (Weston is going on an incredibly restrictive 8 month diet to try and cure his weird intestinal stuff)

Other expenses (gas and car maintenance)

To be clear, Weston is not broke, but his savings are down to the last couple months, and I really want him to be focused on finding the right space and funding for Liminal Space and building up equitable structures for artists, and not having to worry about getting another job.

I recognize that the World is on fire and everyone wants your dollars, but believe me when I say that Westy is a very worthy beneficiary. He is one of the few real geniuses I've met in my life, he is loving, and he is somebody I can trust and rely on. Also, your donation will go a long way towards making Liminal Space Collective healthy, strong, and able to provide the top notch immersive experiences that Santa Cruz has known us for.
