Hi everyone, my name is Alexis Hardy. I am from Conyers, GA, and I am now a law student in Athens. Even though school has taken me to Athens, my heart is still with my hometown, and that is why this drive means so much to me.

In 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I found out that Rockdale Emergency Relief had run out of toiletries. Families and individuals in my community did not have access to simple but necessary items like soap, deodorant, or toothpaste. That moment really stuck with me, and I decided to do something about it. That is how this drive started.

Now we are in year six, and with the support of so many generous people, we have raised more than $8,000 since 2020. Every single dollar has gone directly to purchasing toiletries that I deliver to Rockdale Emergency Relief, where they are distributed to people in need.

This drive is personal to me because it is about more than just giving out products. It is about making sure everyone in our community has access to the basics that help them feel clean, confident, and cared for. No one should have to decide between buying groceries or buying soap, or go without something as simple as a toothbrush.

What your donation will provide

I personally use all donations to purchase these items and then deliver them directly to Rockdale Emergency Relief. Nothing goes to waste, and every contribution makes a real difference for real people in Conyers.

As I continue my journey through law school in Athens, I am committed to keeping this tradition alive and giving back to the community that raised me. With your help, we can make this sixth year our biggest and most impactful drive yet.
