Help Restore Somers High School Courtyard

Eagle Scout Project by Lorenzo Viscogliosi (Troop 228)

Hello, my name is Lorenzo Viscogliosi, and I’m a Life Scout in Somers Troop 228 working toward my Eagle Scout rank. For my Eagle Scout service project, I’ve chosen to help restore an unused and neglected courtyard at Somers High School.

The courtyard is currently in disrepair and unsafe for use. My project will focus on transforming it into a welcoming and functional space for students and staff by:

-Repairing a crumbling rock wall

-Landscaping the area

-Laying gravel to improve the existing walkways

-Building a wooden picnic table for seating

-Constructing two large flower boxes to enhance the environment

I’m asking for your support to help fund materials and supplies needed to complete this project. Any donation, large or small, will go directly toward improving this space for the Somers High School student community.
