My son Aidan has been diagnosed with Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease. Only 1 in 26,000 births have it. It is very serious and many infants do not survive. He is currently safe in his mother’s stomach at 33 weeks. If he survives the first 48 hours after his birth the chances of him living increases 90%.
