Derek and Amanda Vester have officially begun the journey of domestic adoption! After traveling the hard road of infertility for almost ten years, they are excited that their dreams of becoming parents will soon be a reality. They have chosen Adoptions of Indiana as their agency to walk alongside them through this journey.
They spent several years using their savings towards fertility treatments, and sadly, domestic adoption is incredibly expensive. The Vesters will need our help.
The overall cost is $30,350. Here is the breakdown of all the fees:
Home study - $2,800 *GOAL MET!
Networking fees - $4,200 *GOAL MET!
Match fees - $6,300 *GOAL MET!
Placement fees - $14,175 ($11,263 still needed)
Attorney fees - $2,875 (base)
Once their home study is approved, the timeline of when they could be matched with an expectant mom is completely unpredictable. Some domestic adoptions can happen within a week of the home study being approved--others closer to a year or two. It would be amazing to have no money stress for the Vesters when going to meet their future child.
