Baby Stetson’s bowels ruptured in my sister Capri’s uterus then tried to repair itself in development but the intestines ended up twisted and dead with a lot of scar tissue. He was life flighted to Primary Children’s Hospital which put him in the nicu for the first month of his life. He was cleared to go home but after 16 days his health took a turn for the worst. His first operation left minimal small bowel. He may have to have another surgery that takes out most or all of his small bowel leaving him with “short bowel syndrome” which makes his life prognosis very poor. I can’t imagine having to spend your whole maternity leave at the place that you work with one very sick baby and trying so hard to provide for your other child’s emotional and physical needs. We are starting this go fund me to help The Anderson clan as a way to provide for medical bills which entail Stetson’s life flight, surgery, extended stay in the NICU, his additional admission and stay in the ICU and possible 2nd surgery and both having to miss out on so much work and income. Please help Stetson and his family in ANYWAY you can. Every dollar counts and is so appreciated.
