7 week old Scarlett has been at Golisano Children's Hospital since December 6th for episodes of severe breathing trouble. She has tested negative for RSV, Covid-19, etc, and further testing has yet to tell us what is causing this. She is currently getting nutrition via feeding tube, because swallowing milk triggers her terrifying breathing episodes. There are more tests to be done, but things have been put on somewhat of a hold as the doctors can't preform an exploratory scope of her airway with it being as swollen and irritated as it is. Because of her condition and the pause on these tests, we don't know how long Scarlett will be in the hospital. As one could imagine, this has been extremely emotionally taxing on Jennah and Alex (Scarlett's mommy and daddy). Between driving back and forth to the hospital, missing work, having 2 other young children to take care of, and the holidays being right around the corner, they could really use our help.
Donations to them will be used to help with:
-Keeping up with bills and everyday expenses while out of work as Jennah's maternity leave is almost over
-Keeping food on their little family's table
-Gas to keep traveling back and forth
-Making Christmas happen for both Baby Scarlett and their other 2 kids, Levi (8) and Braelyn (6)
-Whatever Jennah and Alex may need to maintain their own wellbeing during this painful and difficult time.
We want to come together and show Jennah, Alex and the kids our love and support! We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for any donation.
