Baby Rory and his little Heart

Hello. My name is Lucy and this is baby Rory born in June 2022. Any mother will tell you the most amazing feeling you get becoming a mummy for the first time but the feeling I have for Rory is so special as he was taken to Neonatal. He was taken due to having low blood glucose but as soon as he was put on a machine his heart rate was going too fast. He was then rushed to intensive care where he spent a couple of weeks in an incubator and we couldn’t hold him. Rory has Supraventricular tachycardia and is on medication and under cardiology care. Ashley (Daddy) and I have been so stressed and Very emotional and full of worry and uncertainty about if he will have another episode. Just complete mixed emotions. We are constantly in and out of hospital/doctors with him and will have many more appointments to come. With all the prices going up, I may have to go back to work so much earlier than I wanted. The first year is so special and have been informed will have to keep an extra eye on Rory as may not grow out of it. Can take a year for us to know. I would rather not have to go back to work too soon so I can be there for him especially such a hard year it will be.

Our little family would be so grateful for some help so I can be there for him and even take him away for his first birthday in June 2023.

I Will also be going up mount Snowden In Spring 2023 for Rory. It will have to be then as I need to make sure I’m fully recovered from my emergency C-Section.
