Roman is 1 year old, and one of the sweetest boys you would ever meet to spite all the hardship he has faced in life.
Roman has had 4 surgeries, is on 11 medications to keep him comfortable, and sees 12 specialist at CHOP making for almost weekly trips for his family.
Romans most recent diagnosis is hypogammaglobulinemia. This is a rare autoimmune disease results in frequent and severe infections, in order to treat Roman and make him more comfortable he has to have IV IgG infusions because his body can't make it on his own. The hope is that this will cause Roman to get sick less frequently and be much more comfortable.
These treatments are 4-6 hours each and will be done in Philadelphia. Causing his parents to have to miss work, time with their daughter, pay raising gas prices and tolls along with housing, food and many other expenses. This doesn't even include all the other times they have to make these 3 hour trips for other testing or appointments with specialist.
The cost add up quickly and our hope is to make this family have one less burden, the financial one. This family has gone through so much so let's help them in anyway we can!
