I would like to introduce you to my nephew, Ethan Bell, his wife Ashley and sweet baby Parker.
Parker was born 6 weeks premature with many hurdles to overcome. She has been in the NICU in Billings Montana since she was born February 25th. Her lungs were underdeveloped, even for a 34 week gestation period. She has made great strides in her healing but is facing surgery in Denver this week as she developed a webbing in her throat from being intubated. This webbing prevents her from being able to suck and drink from a bottle. As you can imagine, the medical bills are piling up, as well as the travel expenses to and from the hospital every week and now to Denver.
The doctor in Denver is very optimistic about the surgery and his performed at many times.
Ashley returned to work after Parker was born, in hopes to use maternity leave when Parker was able to come home, but has recently learned that may not be an option. Unpaid leave will be needed as Parker will need extra care and will be susceptible to infection.
I am asking for any help you can give, for this sweet family. Prayers are always welcomed and much needed. Thank you to all who have already helped and thank you in advance to all who will help.
