Baby on the Way: Help Fund Our Home Upgrade

Hi everyone, my name is Sarah! I'm due with my first child, a beautiful baby boy in October and I couldn't be more excited! It's taken me too long to sit down and create this GoFundMe. My living situation is a strange but almost perfect one. I live in what I call an apartment. It's about 100 ft from my moms house, it used to be a 2 car garage that my brothers renovated into a livable apartment they could live in while they were going to college. I moved in a few years ago after I left a bad situation, and for awhile my mom has said she'd be happy if I just stayed there and finish turning the apartment into a home what with the economy and cost of living nowadays, I will probably never be able to buy a home and renting is outrageous. So this is now my home. And while its amazing to have and I'm incredibly grateful for what work my brothers put into this and my amazing mother for allowing me to live here, its got its quirks. I have a living room, a main bedroom, and 2 smaller rooms eventually we hoped to turn one into the kitchen and the other a bathroom. Once I found out I was pregnant we realized we needed to get the bathroom set up ASAP. The electric work also needs to be looked at and rewired for a house instead of a garage. I've flipped the breakers more than a few times, and I don't have central heating and air. I use a window AC unit which gets the job done enough for sure, and a couple space heaters for winter. But we could really use and greatly appreciate some financial help with it. We'd have to have a new water meter put in, dig and install the pipes, buy a toilet, lumbar, I'd love to be able to afford getting a shower head and drain installed too to truly go ahead and make it more into a home, and of course labor costs. It could be anywhere I've read from 5K-10K just for the bathroom project. I have tons of people asking about stuff for mine and my partners baby, and we honestly are sitting pretty in that regard. We've had incredible friends and family gift us baby stuff so we are just about perfect. There's a few small odds and ends we could get that I have on an Amazon registry, but we're pretty good as far as baby needs. What we truly need is to finish turning this apartment into our home. Me and my mom have talked about loans possibly to get it done, and we will probably go that route, but I figured it couldn't hurt to make this and humbly ask you all for help in funding our bathroom project.
