Baby Leo! Micropreemie Warrior

Baby Leo was due July 10th 2021. But wanted to be a stubborn boy like his mama and decided to come April 7th 2021. 26 weeks and 4 days. His mom and dad were super excited to have another little boy but definitely were not prepared for his arrival to be this early. When Diana’s water broke she rushed to the hospital only to find out she was 7 cm and there was no chance of keeping him in any longer. Leo Anthony was born at 632 am 2lbs 1oz. Put straight on a ventilator and rushed off to the nicu . The parents took one look at their baby and realized they will need an army of support to cope with these times

Unlike most babies who get to go home right away Diana will be leaving without him tomorrow. He could be in the Nicu until July .

Both Chris and Diana will have to take time every day to go back and forth to be with their baby and try to manage their 2.5 year old Eli at home. Diana has to cut
down on work hours to give the best they 
possibly can give to both their children.

Thankfully no complications have come up yet but they still have a long journey ahead . He has been making progress but it’s only been 24 hours and they’re estimating for a 3 month stay could be longer. So I ask if you could donate any amount to help them get by the next couple of months. Whether it’s used for a meal while they’re on the go, bills, gas back and forth  a sitter for Eli or put aside  if something comes up . every little bit counts. They are both amazing parents that just need a little help at this time right now .

Diana wanted to have a mini sprinkle shower to celebrate her final child but didn’t get a chance with Leo being a preemie she didn’t have time to fully prepare. She is one of the most amazing people I know. She’s selfless and never asks for help when she needs it! I know her and Chris would be blown away by any little bit of help we can give them! Let’s help (my best friend) these parents out!
